this album is a compilation of songs written between 2019-2020, during which i was in an abusive relationship with a musician i looked up to. benji was recorded in october-november 2019. YCTQ was recorded by Nel Nolan at LMU in early 2020. on seen and YCTQ were written in early 2019, on seen was recorded along with bitter and cass dy in october-november 2020.
this is a snapshot of who i was at that time, a framework for the person i have become, a year of healing later.
